The Greatest Funeral Ever has become a favorite to the fans of original music in Central PA.  Their performances feature energetic, must-dance Latin and R&B-inspired tunes, as well as more contemplative jazz-influenced arrangements.  The addition of the doumbek, congas, and other exciting percussion create an electrifying live music experience.  TGFE has proven to be a versatile group as well, supplying the appropriate energy to jazz club venues, art gallery openings, outdoor festivals, and rock clubs.  Highlights from 2009 include playing Harrisburg PA’s American MusicFest; opening for critically acclaimed artists Charlie Hunter and Toubab Krewe; and the release of their debut CD “High Moon Cold Night”.  TGFE plans to build on their momentum in 2010, reaching new audiences in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and beyond.
